MLA International Bibliography indexes scholarly works (journal articles, books, book chapters, and dissertations) pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. It is international and multilingual.

Literature Online (LION) "Criticism" searches the Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature, which also indexes scholarly works on literary topics, but is specifically Anglophone in scope. The LION database also includes reference sources and a large corpus of literary texts in English.
