As an alum you are entitled access to the library and a limited number of book checkouts. Details for Harvard College alums can be found here:

Other alums can visit the Harvard Library Visting alumni page for general information and links to individual libraries.

Anything that was scanned as part of the Google project is available publicly, and links to these items can be found in the HOLLIS catalog. This material is all out of copyright and published prior to 1923. Many other open-source items are linked in HOLLIS as well. (If you are not in the U.S., copyright will vary. In cases where an item is not out of copyright in certain countries Google won't display it.)

We now have a selection of e-resources available to alumni. For details please check the Alumni e-resources page. We also have an FAQ on alumni e-resources.

Once you have an access card you'll be able to access our online subscription materials from desktop computers inside any Harvard library.
