Hello,

On August 14, 2014, the Harvard Library launched a new search tool called HOLLIS+:
http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.ois:hollis+

What do we like about HOLLIS+?
·         Find and access articles, books and more
·         Easy starting point for exploratory research
·         Useful  for interdisciplinary research because of the many sources covering a broad range of subjects
·         Simpler and more intuitive search
·         Great for known-item recall and general keyword searches

HOLLIS Classic will continue to be available- as will our usual range of e-resources and databases, for which this is not a replacement.

HOLLIS+ enables discovery of most Harvard Library resources in a single unified search.

Where the traditional library catalog (designed to replicate card catalogs) has more limited search capabilities, the HOLLIS+ catalog is able to find articles, books and more in one simple search.

We've put together a guide we hope will be helpful in using it:  http://guides.library.harvard.edu/hollisplus_quicktips
