Borrowing and Scanning During COVID-19

Borrowing

Borrowing is available for current faculty, staff and students able to pick up books at Lamont's Front Door. See How to Borrow Materials and Use Our Services During COVID-19 for information.

Longwood affiliates able to visit Countway Library can find out more about their Grab and Go book pickup service. Ask a (Countway) Librarian.

Scanning

is available for current Harvard faculty, staff and students.

  • Look in the HOLLIS listing for "Scan & Deliver" for most materials.
  • For Special Collections materials, look in the HOLLIS listing for "View in Library;" log in to (or join) the special collections request system and then place a request.
  • We do not have access for all Harvard Library materials. In cases where we cannot access our own, we will try to obtain copies for you elsewhere.
  • Interlibrary Loan and BorrowDirect are also operating.

Please see the links above and our How To Borrow Materials and Use Our Services During COVID-19 page for further details. You can also sign up for restart updates.

For further assistance or information, Ask Us.

Service Alert:

In observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, our services will be unavailable on Monday, January 18. There may be a slight delay in our responses to inquiries received over the weekend. If you're experiencing an ongoing technical issue when you attempt to access library materials with your HarvardKey, please report it to Library Technology Services.
