How do I use the new HOLLIS?

The new HOLLIS has plenty of exciting new features, but the interface may seem a little strange at first. We can help!

HOLLIS Help can help you get started.

One of the biggest changes is that the main search box is even simpler than in HOLLIS+. You still search only certain categories: to do so at the start of your search, click on Advanced Search to the right of the main search box. Even simpler, enter a search term in the main search box and then use the limiters that come up on the right side of the screen to narrow the selection.

For more specific help, submit a question. Harvard affiliates are also invited to make a research appointment to sit down with someone and learn about HOLLIS' great new features including:

-simpler searches and search results: no more tabs!

-save entire searches in Favorites!

-just want to be able to get back to this search? Copy the URL.

-suggested resources and research guides

-"personalize" search option prioritizes results within a selected discipline

Don't forget to leave feedback!
