What is the Harvard AI Sandbox and who has access to it?

How do I get access if I'm eligible?

Faculty and full time staff have access to this closed-system sandbox for experimentation in  a secure environment. See HUIT’s AI sandbox page for more. (Note: as more secure tools become available to this group, the sandbox may be discontinued)

The HUIT FAQ entry Select a Large Language Model (LLM) and adjust settings in the AI Sandbox  lists the models available in the sandbox with  a quick overview of their relative strengths.
