Crimson Cash Discontinued

When is the cutoff date? Where do I get a refund? What are my alternatives for printing and photocopies? 

The last day to use your Crimson Cash in Harvard Library was June 30, 2025.

The libraries used Crimson Cash primarily for printing and photocopying, and we transitioned a new method in 2025 at the end of the year Harvard spent retiring Crimson Cash.  

 If you are in the library, check with a Circulation desk for updates and assistance with our print and copy options.

According to the former Crimson Cash Retirement FAQs (no longer online):

  • Harvard ID holders can apply for refunds through June 30, 2026. 
  • Crimson Cash's "white cards," cards that hold funds in lieu of an ID, cannot be refunded. 
  • Students could use Crimson Cash for GrubHub through August 25, 2025 

Service Alert:
