If you are a Harvard student currently enrolled in a language class, you may find the Language Center useful. Here you can use a variety of language-learning software in addition to viewing foreign films.
Additionally, if you are currently enrolled in a Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian class at Harvard, the RLL Tutoring Center is available during the fall and spring semesters. Tutors offer one-on-one assistance in a variety of topics (grammar, speaking practice, writing, etc. Note: writing assistance is only available with your instructor's written permission).
Other non-classroom foreign language learning tools (books, tapes, DVDs) are limited at Harvard, but searching HOLLIS for the language and study, e.g. Spanish language study, will retrieve what we have. You can refine your search by format, such as sound recording, on the left side of the page.
Generally speaking, the local public libraries have good collections of foreign language learning resources.
