MECAS (Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies) (Harvard login) indexes research, policy, and scholarly discourse on the countries and peoples of the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. Some material dates as far back as 1900.

The Encyclopaedia Judaica (Harvard login) may be helpful. It covers all aspects of Jewish history and culture.
