How many students were in the first graduating class at Harvard University? And what year was the first graduation?

According to the Quinquennial Catalogue of the Officers and Graduates 1636-1930, (page 83), the first class to receive the Bachelors or Arts and Bachelors of Science in Harvard College consisted of 9 men.  The date was 1642.
