I'm doing a research paper on the sinking of the Titanic. Where should I start? Any suggestions on where to find reliable information?
Although Harvard's main library was endowed in memory of a Titanic victim, Harry Elkins Widener, our resources on the sinking, beyond the published histories, memoirs, etc., are relatively limited.
We naturally get many questions about the Titanic, and as a seasoned reference librarian in Widener Library, I definitely recommend both these excellent resources:
