Q. What are the use and copyright policies for scanned/digital maps in the Library collections?

The Harvard Library's policy is that we claim no copyright on images of anything in the public domain. Therefore, we charge no fees for using images and we neither grant nor deny permissions. We just ask that you credit us as "Harvard Map Collection, Harvard Library."
