Accessing the Exhibition
While visits to our reading room are
by appointment only
, you
don't need an appointment
to see the exhibition.
Both the Harvard Map Collection reading room and exhibition hall are located in Harvard's Pusey Library, right in Harvard Yard.
Pusey Library is open
Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 6 PM
. You're welcome to visit the exhibition anytime the building is open.
You do not need a Harvard ID to visit Harvard Map Collection exhibitions.
Checking for Closures
Please note that Pusey Library is
closed on university holidays
and may also close for other campus events.
To confirm our hours and check for any unexpected closures, please visit the
Harvard Map Collection website
.
On the yellow banner displaying today's hours, click "
See All Hours
." Then, on the next page, find the link labeled "
Show Detailed Hours
" under the reading room schedule. Clicking this will reveal the exhibition hours.
