Printing in FAS Libraries: Instructions for Special Borrowers and Library Access Card Holders (Alumni, Visiting Researchers, Public Community Members)
Printing is paid for with money put on a Crimson Cash card.
- Log onto a designated Guest Computer using Harvard Key (the HarvardKey guest login should be indicated nearby).
- Have or get a Crimson Cash card from the Library Circulation Desk
- Confirm/Add money to your Crimson Cash card account
- Select CrimsonPrint as your printer (from print menu) when you initiate the print job on the computer.
- Identify a printer/location to release your print job from, then go to the printer area, swipe your Crimson Cash card on the monitor, then choose your print job from the list.
Select Computer and Printer Locations in FAS Libraries:
- Widener: desktops in Atkins and the Circulation room print to any Widener public printer.
- Lamont: desktops in the Cafe and on Lamont Level B print to any Lamont public printer.
- Cabot: desktops in the library print to the library printers station on the first floor.
Printing costs:
- Single sided: $0.05 (b&w), $0.06 (color)
- Double sided: $0.06 (b&w), 0.16 (color)

- Ask a Librarian, including chat and email, will be suspended Thursday July 4 through Sunday, July 7, 2024, in observance of the holiday weekend. Any questions received during this period will be answered beginning Monday, July 8.
- If If you're experiencing an ongoing technical issue when you attempt to access library materials with your HarvardKey during these times, please report it to Library Technology Services.
